When Fusion moved into an abandoned Sheffield cutlery factory in 1971 and commenced the manufacture of polyethylene pipe joining tools it was the ending of one industrial era and the start of another.

Thirty nine years later, the men and women who by their skill and determination created Fusion - and made it the success that it became - can look back with satisfaction and pride.

Depite the challenge of the Far East, Fusion is still a major manufacturer based in the UK, supplying a comprehensive range of fittings and equipment to the utility markets around the world, with sales in over sixty countries. Manufacturing skills now cover many varied disciplines including injection moulding, pipe extrusion, fabrication, electronics, engineering and software design.
