Fusion Equipment is responsible for the research, design, development and manufacture of the Group’s butt fusion machines, electrofusion boxes and tooling. As well as the range of standard butt fusion and electrofusion products, Fusion Equipment has designed and built ‘one-off’ specials for use in industries as diverse as defence, and mines and quarries.
Fusion Equipment’s main manufacturing and assembly facility is based in Chesterfield. To service markets in China, South-East Asia and Australasia, a manufacturing joint-venture was created in Kunshan, China in 2004.
The machines built by Fusion Equipment are marketed through Fusion Group’s international network of distributors and agents. In the UK you can hire Fusion’s pipe jointing equipment through Fusion Hire & Repair.
