Smart metering represents probably the most ambitious UK energy project since the switch from town gas to North Sea gas in the 1970s. The Government’s objective is for every home to be equipped with a smart meter by 2020: that equates to millions of new meters.

Meter Provida is the UK’s leading supplier of gas meters, meter kits and assemblies to Meter Asset Managers and energy suppliers. It has developed software that enables the supply chain journey of a gas meter to be tracked: from manufacture to installation.
