Fusion Polska presents Global PE Product Offer at Water Conference

Fusion Polska presents at water conference in Eastern Poland 09-05-2019

On the edge of Eastern Poland a few kilometres from the border with Belarus lies the Bialowieza National Park. Covering an area of over 150km2, the Park protects Europe’s last temperate primaeval forest, forest which used to stretch across the European plain. The Park is home to the world’s largest population of European bison, the continent’s heaviest land animals, and to the recent Regional Water Conference at which Fusion Polska was a keynote presenter.

Fusion Polska was involved in the first regional water conference back in 2002. Since then, the numbers attending the event has more than doubled; this year’s conference in Hotel Zubrowka attracted over 200 delegates.

The objective of the conference is to bring together representatives from water companies, municipalities, universities and suppliers to learn about and discuss the latest techniques, services and products. Fusion Polska introduced Fusion’s new ‘Global PE Product Offer’, focussing on electrofusion fittings and PE valves. Other presentations included a talk on the latest changes to public procurement law in Poland, and the economics of water and sewer management (AVK).

Konrad Grzegorczyk (Head of the Eastern Poland Region) led the Fusion Polska team at the conference:

‘There was a real buzz at the conference. Group discussions focussed on water pricing and public procurement with really interesting feedback on network management and new products and services.
In my experience, it is one of the best events to meet current customers and make new contacts. I’m looking forward to participating in the next conference in 2020.’
