Electrofusion tapping valve saddle with under clamp (63mm Outlet, 63 - 225mm Body) for gas, water, wastewater, mining and irrigation applications. 4.0mm Fusamatic pin, PE100, Water PN16, Gas 10 Bar. Temperature range on electrofusion fittings -10°C / +40°C.

Electrofusion tapping valve saddle with under clamp (63mm Outlet, 63 - 225mm Body) and 4.0mm Fusamatic (automatic) pin. For gas, water, wastewater, mining and irrigation applications. All fittings are manufactured using virgin PE100 black polyethylene. Tapping valve saddles are specialised fittings used to add a new branch connection with an integral isolation valve to an existing pipeline, without disrupting the main flow.

Features

  • All fittings are manufactured using virgin PE100 black polyethylene.
  • Water PN16 / Gas 10 Bar (All stated technical specifications depend on PE pipe welded to and any local pipeline pressure regulations).
  • Fusamatic pin 4.0mm (automatic method to ensure correct welding parameters are used).
  • 14mm AF drive shaft provides a method of driving the integral cutter through the mains pipe wall in addition to actuating the valve once the cut through operation has been carried out (maximum permitted cutting torque 120Nm).
  • Moulded-in brass sleeve design with integrated O-rings - provide a gas/water tight seal for both dead and live mains.
  • Integrated brass bodied valve provides a reusable shutoff point - eliminating the requirement for an additional in-line valve within the service off-take (maximum permitted torque for valve operation 90Nm).
  • Double spigot outlet - ample spigot length to cut off a coupler/reducer and fuse a second fitting.
  • Saddle and fusion mat designed to minimise joint cycle times.
  • Under clamp designed to snap quickly in place, saves time and avoids the need for specialist tooling.
  • Rising pin fusion indicator allows for easy monitoring of the fusion process.
  • Manual welding parameters moulded into the body of the fitting for easy reference.
  • All electrofusion fittings are individually numbered for precise tracking.
  • Permanent batch number - clearly marked for quality control.
  • Barcode and QR code enables full traceability of each fitting back to raw materials and critical components.
  • Welding barcode compliant with ISO 13950 and traceability barcode compliant with ISO 12176-4.
