AVK in the UK Publishes Horizon 2026 Sustainability Report

Supporting Utilities on the Journey to Net Zero 04-06-2026

AVK in the UK has published its latest Horizon 2026 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress across the UK Group in reducing environmental impact, improving operational efficiency and supporting customers in the water, wastewater and gas sectors as they work towards Net Zero.

As utilities face growing pressure to decarbonise operations, reduce whole-life carbon and build resilient infrastructure, AVK continues to embed sustainability across AVK UK, Atplas, Fusion and Glenfield Invicta, helping customers meet increasingly demanding environmental and operational targets.

The report outlines progress towards the AVK Group's commitment to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and Net Zero across all emissions by 2040. Recent achievements include reductions in operational emissions, increased use of renewable electricity, ISO 14064 accreditation for greenhouse gas reporting and the expansion of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) across key product ranges.

AVK is helping customers improve sustainability performance through independently verified EPDs, enhanced energy management and a continued focus on extending asset life. Together, these initiatives support lower whole-life carbon, improved resource efficiency and more sustainable water and gas networks.

As sustainability requirements continue to evolve, AVK UK, Atplas, Fusion Group and Glenfield Invicta remain focused on delivering products, services and environmental data that help customers meet their carbon reduction, resilience and regulatory goals.
