Gordon Noble has been named the Expect...Customer Response Winner at the AVK 2026 Expect Awards 05-03-2026
Although Gordon joined Fusion in August 2024, he is no stranger to the business having worked for Fusion Provida, Fusion’s former distribution business, for seventeen years between 1995 and 2012.
‘I have been able to bring on board new customers and grow existing ones using contacts within these businesses that I have known for many years; in some cases over 30 years. This is recognition of the importance of maintaining personal relationships based on trust and openness.
Fusion’s range of large diameter branch saddles is recognised as the go to product for new connections and emergency situations on both gas and water networks. In the case of emergencies, demand is very hard to forecast; who knows when the next digger bucket will hit a gas main! One customer expressed a desire to stock and promote these saddles in order to be able to respond quickly when such situations arise. They placed a stock order for all sizes to become the first frontline stockist of the complete range of Fusion saddles. I am sure this commitment will deliver significant returns, for both the customer and Fusion, in the years to come.’
As well as increasing customer orders, Gordon’s experience and approachability had made him a sounding board for both colleagues and customers alike.
Gordon’s award recognises not only strong commercial growth but the strength of long-standing relationships and market knowledge.
