BSI were the world’s first national standards body and their mission is to share knowledge, innovation and best practice to help people and organisations make excellence a habit – all over the world, every day.
Fusion Group passed the ISO/TS 29001:2010 transition assessment with a 100% pass rate and have now been approved to the new version of the standard, ISO 29001:2020, this is well ahead of the May 2023 deadline.
ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS), whilst ISO 29001 is a sector specific QMS for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries with additional requirements to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, i.e. Fusion have gone above and beyond other manufacturers who only have ISO 9001 accreditation.
Fusion’s accreditation team is led by Lisa Shelton, Group Compliance Director:
“We are proud to be able to say that we have had a 3rd party certified QMS in place for more than 30 years. Fusion UK originally held BS 5750 QMS certification and transitioned to ISO 9001 in 1987 when the Standard was first published. This shows our longevity and on-going commitment to Total Quality Management.”
We would like to say big thank you to everyone in the team who has and continues to contribute to this success.
