Fusion hosts Croatian and Hungarian distributors for hands-on product training and site tour 15-04-2025

Fusion recently had the pleasure of hosting our valued distribution partners from Croatia and Hungary for a comprehensive technical training session and site tour at our manufacturing facilities in the UK. During the visit the guests engaged in a packed agenda designed to strengthen product knowledge, technical expertise, and market positioning.

The training focused on some of Fusion’s latest product developments, with special emphasis on the F-Series electrofusion welding machines and Fusamatic Tapping Valve Saddle. Our technical team also led in-depth training on the Butt Fusion process, utilising the Gator Automatic Butt Fusion machine, demonstrating best practice and troubleshooting techniques to ensure reliable, high-quality joints in the field.

F-Series Electrofusion Welding Machines
The F90 and F60 electrofusion welding machines are the newest additions to Fusion’s global product offering.

  • The F90 is a high performance, robust electrofusion welding machine designed to weld fittings for gas, water and other pressure pipe applications up to 1000mm in diameter.
  • The F60 is a compact, lightweight electrofusion welding machine designed to weld fittings for gas, water and other pressure pipe applications up to 200mm in diameter.

Tapping Valve Saddle Electrofusion Fittings
Tapping valve saddles are specialised fittings used to add a new branch connection with an integral isolation valve to an existing pipeline, without disrupting the main flow.

Our guests had the opportunity to get hands-on with the equipment, gaining practical experience and asking questions around functionality, application, and unique selling points.

The visit also featured in-depth technical presentations and a site tour of our manufacturing and testing facilities, which highlighted our Fusamatic manufacturing process from raw materials to the finished product. Experiencing our operations up close gave the guests a clearer view of the high standards we maintain, where advanced testing procedures are seamlessly integrated with our commitment to manufacturing excellence.
